These terms govern your use of ACCORD. By approving an accord and paying, you
agree to them.
What ACCORD is
ACCORD is a done-for-you app studio. You describe the app you want — web,
mobile, or both; ACCORD interviews you, rules on whether it's buildable as one
app, and produces an agreed scope (the "accord"). On your approval and payment,
ACCORD builds it.
The accord is the contract
The accord you approve defines exactly what ACCORD will build, including what
is not included. Anything outside it is out of scope.
Additions or changes after approval are a separate, quoted change order —
they are not included in the build fee.
You own what ACCORD builds
You own the app, the source code, the backend, and the data —
outright. There is no lock-in. ACCORD may retain and reuse
general know-how and non-client-specific components, but everything specific to
your app is yours. If you take monitoring, ACCORD operates it for you as a
convenience — you can stop anytime and take everything with you.
Revisions, support & changes
Two revisions to the agreed build are included. A third or further revision, or any change that adds to the accord, is a separate change order — priced and approved before work continues.
Support (questions, and defects — things that don't work as the accord describes) is provided while your build is active, and on an ongoing basis with a monitoring plan. New features or changed behaviour are a change order, not support.
Pricing, billing & the free verdict
The verdict and the accord are free — you only pay if ACCORD rules it buildable and you approve. If it can't be built as one app, you pay nothing.
A one-time build fee applies, at the price shown at checkout. Optional monitoring & management is a separate recurring subscription you can add or cancel anytime. Change orders, extra revisions, and a code handover are separate charges. Payment is processed by Stripe.
Delivery timeline
ACCORD commits to the specific timeline stated in your accord (web apps are
fastest; mobile and hybrid take longer and include a working build before
store submission). Timelines depend on your timely inputs (branding, content,
and — for mobile — your App Store / Google Play developer accounts). App-store
review is controlled by Apple and Google; ACCORD does not guarantee approval or
its timing.
Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel a monitoring subscription anytime — you keep the app, the code, the backend, and the data.
Because ACCORD does not begin building until you approve and pay, and because a not-buildable verdict is free, the build fee is non-refundable once the build has commenced. The bounded, approved accord — and the free "no" — are the risk reversal.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information, branding, and content, and arrange the App Store / Google Play developer accounts required for a mobile release.
Ensure you have the right to any material and integrations you provide, and use the app lawfully.
Don't use ACCORD for anything illegal or abusive, or that violates a third party's rights or a connected service's terms.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
ACCORD builds to the approved accord. To the fullest extent permitted by law,
the service and the app are provided "as is," and ACCORD's total liability for
any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the
claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll post changes here with a new date. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
